Preparedness for everyone
Living in the shadow of Mount Rainier with an earthquake fault beneath us, the Pacific Northwest keeps us on our toes. We hear it all the time: "Be prepared." But too often, we toss a jug of water in the pantry, forget about it, and call it good—until a storm hits, the power goes out, and those granola bars are hard as a rock and the water is long expired.
A few years ago, we decided enough was enough. We built a real emergency stash—shelf-stable food, first aid, lighting, and grab-and-go kits. But when we searched for long-term supplies, we hit a wall. Most sites were riddled with fear-mongering and exclusionary vibes—not for us.
So we created a place for people like us: practical, inclusive, and focused on preparing for our families and communities without fear or hype. Like the Honey Badger, we’re resilient, adaptable, and ready to face anything. Join us—we’re here to help you prepare for whatever comes next.

A Little About The Honey Badgers
Monica is a therapist with a passion for helping others, and Kristen is a Jill of all trades with a rich background spanning community organizing, education, and more. After nearly two decades together, we’ve called both rural and urban settings home, sharing countless adventures—and plenty of laughs—with our incredible daughter and two pesky rescue cats. On weekends, you’ll find us hunting for cool rocks at the beach, camping in the Hoh rainforest, upcycling junk to art and plotting to undermine the patriarchy.
